Dinner @ The Ship

15 August 2007

I just don’ know how I got myself involved in the ‘ayam kampung’ addiction. Now, asyik-asyik makan ayam kampung. Hari ni si ZAG yang bercuti sebelah pagi tetiba offered nak belikan nasi beriani with ayam kampong from Putrajaya. Aku setuju je…

Sebelum lunch ada discussion kejap dengan big boss. Sampai waktu lunch aku terus ke kupang untuk tapau drinks and then naik makan kat tingkat 9. NSK, NAMN, ZAG and sorang lagi yang aku tak tau nama pun makan sekali. Kecoh betul we all makan… nasib baik le lunch time.

Petang ada discussion dengan one of the big bosses in preparation for the LDP next month. I must say that it was a good session. Banyak yang aku belajar. Discussion berlarutan sampai pukul 5 p.m. Habis je discussion aku berkejar balik ke office to clear outstanding work and check email. Pukul 5:30 aku ke Block C for another meeting. A bunch of managers kat company aku will be attending a learning programme kat Indonesia. They are required to do a country paper to be presented during the programme. Memandangkan diaorang pilih untuk buat presentation pasal satu projek yang aku buat last year, they have asked me to share some of the insights to help them prepare for the programme.
Tapi I told them aku tak boleh lama. Lagipun aku dah janji nak pegi cycling dengan HA and ZAG.

Harini, dekat pukul 6:45 baru bertolak from office to Lake Garden. Semuanya gara-gara aku lambat habis discussion. Cyling-wise, I did much better today jika dibandingkan dengan hari Isnin haritu. Takde rasa yang pelik-pelik. Came back at about 7:45 p.m.

Lepas mandi and Maghrib, aku sambung keje kejap. Lepas tu aku and RS pegi dinner kat The Ship. Aku makan charbroiled sirloin steak and RS ordered black pepper steak (kalau tak silap laa). Lepas main course, both of us ordered banana split. Habis je dessert, perut aku dah meragam. So tak sempat nak sembang panjang, aku terus gegas balik.

About 'The Ship'

The Ship, with the reputation of serving The Best Steak In Town, was well served under a unique decorative setting and on top of that all prices are value for money. The unique exterior of our restaurants resemble an almost life-size hull of a ship, and on stepping inside one will be impressed with the timely recreated likeness of a sea-going vessel.

Complementing the theme is service provided by captains and crews in maritime uniform. Such is the attraction of The Ship that it is common for foreign visitors of the country to seek its whereabouts. The Ship has, by word of mouth, contributed in making Malaysia a popular tourist destination.
